Tuky jsou tak\u00e9 hlavn\u00edm zdrojem energie pro t\u011blo, obaluj\u00ed a chr\u00e1n\u00ed org\u00e1ny v t\u011ble a tak\u00e9 slou\u017e\u00ed jako z\u00e1klad pro tvorbu n\u011bkter\u00fdch hormon\u016f.  V \u010dl\u00e1nku se dozv\u00edme, \u017ee mezi nejzdrav\u011bj\u0161\u00ed tuky pat\u0159\u00ed ty, kter\u00e9 nebyly tepeln\u011b upraveny. Nejlep\u0161\u00ed zdroje zdrav\u00fdch tuk\u016f jsou p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm ryby, maso, vejce, m\u00e1slo, ale tak\u00e9 o\u0159echy, olivy, avok\u00e1do a r\u016fzn\u00e9 druhy sem\u00ednek. Naopak mezi nejhor\u0161\u00ed tuky m\u016f\u017eeme za\u0159adit ty, kter\u00e9 byly vysoce pr\u016fmyslov\u011b upraveny, nebo, r\u016fzn\u00e9 p\u0159edsma\u017een\u00e9 oleje. Kdy\u017e tedy budete vyb\u00edrat v obchod\u011b olej, rad\u011bji s\u00e1hn\u011bte po tom nerafinovan\u00e9m ve sklen\u011bn\u00e9 lahvi, je sice dra\u017e\u0161\u00ed, ale zato zdrav\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. V mal\u00e9m mno\u017estv\u00ed n\u00e1m neu\u0161kod\u00ed, ale nen\u00ed dobr\u00e9 je konzumovat ve velk\u00e9m mno\u017estv\u00ed.  Tuky tak\u00e9 m\u016f\u017eeme rozd\u011blit na rostlinn\u00e9 a \u017eivo\u010di\u0161n\u00e9. Rostlinn\u00e9 tuky jsou z\u00edsk\u00e1v\u00e1ny z rostlin, konkr\u00e9tn\u011b z jejich plod\u016f, semen nebo jin\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed. Rostlinn\u00e9 tuky obsahuje nap\u0159\u00edklad kokos, slune\u010dnice, s\u00f3ja, \u0159epka atd. Potraviny, kter\u00e9 se vyr\u00e1b\u011bj\u00ed z rostlinn\u00fdch tuk\u016f, jsou nap\u0159\u00edklad rostlinn\u00e9 oleje \u010di margar\u00edny. Rostlinn\u00e9 tuky obsahuj\u00ed v\u00edcenenasycen\u00e9 mastn\u00e9 kyseliny, kter\u00e9 jsou pro na\u0161e zdrav\u00ed mnohem v\u00edce prosp\u011b\u0161n\u00e9, ne\u017e \u017eivo\u010di\u0161n\u00e9 tuky. \u017divo\u010di\u0161n\u00e9 tuky jsou nap\u0159\u00edklad m\u00e1slo, s\u00e1dlo nebo uzeniny.
