| EX / REFLEX Matej Bartosek 1/6/2006 MIOU MIOU: La La Grande Finale Piper Records  The charming melody of MM flowing from virginally pure Eastern Bohemian ditch gets under the skin and stays there with pleasure. It's hard to say why this band decided to sing in French. As to atmosphere, of which there is a great deal on the album „La La Grande Finale,“ French suits the record like a trunk suits the elephant. Songs as light as Karolina Dytrtova's voice are quite diverse in terms of sound, while being at the same time quite simple. Don't expect a serious statement about the state of the world, but what is offered by this pale blue album is still far more complicated than a positive cut. It is as sunny and breezy as the more precious of spring days. The ideal soundtrack for an outing to Saint-Tropez. Only as long as you don't prefer pumped-up motorcycles and slick, waxed sports cars over, say, the stylish Citroen. Translation: Maggie Skodon
