You could say that MM put out, for example, a summer album – its atmosphere
is definitely up-beat and spontaneous. However, it has the quality
of an ingenious and elegant musical puzzle and does not even slightly
resemble the low -quality lyrics and bland, blocky rhythms of much
contemporary music. The band members like to call their music "experimental
pop," and it does seem that their work manages to combine some
of the most intelligent ideas from the pop scene of recent years.
MM draws you into its own world - immediately and without asking.
From the start, it absorbs you with its freshness and playfulness
and some sort of insolvent dose of universality. This music is almost
like a feeling of nirvana, experienced in an anonymous field or meadow.
Hands behind your head, legs crossed, the sun burning your eyes. And
the silence floods you with a rush of joy, and you cannot help but
tap your feet to its rhythm. And you secretly long for more such things
streaming through the air.
